Adré Engelbrecht - 40 days of Preparation for the Wedding Feast
"Forty days before the 31st of March 2018 I realized that there were only forty days left before my daughter, Sarlene, would marry my future son-in-law, Janus Fourie. Early that morning I entered the inner sanctum of my room where I received a word to share with the two who would be wed at the 40 day mark.
I was also tasked with marking the 40-day countdown with them in preparation for the wedding feast. Each morning I retreated to my room where I received a new word for the day. I realized in this time of preparation that this is exactly the way Abba Father is preparing us for his Son, Yahshua (Jesus), through His precious Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).
The 40 day journey was truly a blessing to me and I eagerly entered the sanctity of my room each morning in expectation for the word that I would receive ‘fresh’ from His throne room. It was a wonderful experience of receiving new oil and fresh manna each morning.
After the 40-day period had elapsed I compiled a book for the couple containing each day’s word alongside photos of them from before and during their wedding, and gave it to them as a gift. This is where the idea of writing the book you are now holding originated.
This book contains forty devotionals for the couple who are to be wed at the end of that period, but it is also forty days’ worth of self-reflection for the bride of Yahshua, our Messiah, for the wedding feast of the Lamb.
On the 14th of March 2021, my son Gerhard married Elanca Goosen in the Robertson area, and I was able to share the 40 day preparation with them as well. After their wedding I began to seriously work on the book for future couples who are to be married, but also for the preparation of the bride of Yahshua, our Messiah. I pray that this book becomes a throne room experience to each person who reads it, as it was for me when I first received it from His heart." - Adre Engelbrecht

Revelations 19:7-9: "Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear. Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the Wedding Feast of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
