We find the Torah Commandment to write The Word on our doorposts of our homes and on our gates.

Deu 6:4-9 “Hear, O Israel: YHVH (The LORD) our Elohim (God), YHVH is one. You shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

The tradition of affixing a container with portions of the texts of Deut 6 and 12 to the door posts and gates of Yisraelite home was developed.

It has become tradition to also have the Hebrew letter ''Shin'' on the Mezuzah, the Hebrew letter Shin represents El Shaddai (The Almighty) a Name of the Elohim (God) and protector of Yisrael.

We have decided to add Frankincense resin to this Mezuzah because Frankincense represents The Lamb aspect of The Messiah and if that was not enough Frankincense also is linked to Michael The Arch Angel and prince of Yisrael. Dan 12:1 At that time Michael, the great prince, the protector of your people...'' - Ancient Biblical Oils
